Accessing Teamgage with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Enabled
If your organisation has enabled Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), you’ll be required to use an additional verification step when logging in. This enhances the security of your Teamgage account.
When MFA is enabled, you’ll log in using:
- Your password, and
- A 6-digit verification code generated by an authenticator app or sent via SMS
If your organisation uses Single Sign-On (SSO), MFA is managed by your SSO provider, not Teamgage. This guide does not apply in that case.
Accessing Teamgage For The First Time Using MFA
- Go to Teamgage and log in
- Click Get Started
- Install an authenticator app used by your organisation, or click Skip this step if you already have one
- Once ready, click My app is ready
- Open your authenticator app and scan the QR code displayed on the screen
- Enter the 6-digit code generated by the app to complete the setup and to log in for the first time
You can choose to receive a verification code via SMS instead of using an authenticator app at step 3.

Accessing Teamgage After MFA Setup
After setup, each time you log in:
- Enter your password as usual
- Enter the verification code from your authenticator app (or via SMS/email, if selected)
You can choose Don’t ask me again for 180 days to reduce how often you’re prompted on the same device.
