Creating Actions from comments
What kind of comments do your Team members leave in Teamgage? How can you encourage more constructive comments and ideas?
Create an action from a comment
This feature gives team leaders an easy way to create an action from a constructive comment.
For example, a comment about widening the peer review system can be added to the team's Teamgage Actions, assigned to a team member and given a due date for completion.
By acting on constructive comments in this way, other team members are encouraged to write comments in future Teamgage submissions with more of their own ideas and solutions.
Here’s how it works
Open your team report and go to Comments
Roll your mouse over a comment that could be easily actioned
Click the green plus that appears and “Add to Actions”
Edit the wording of the comment if necessary, within Actions
Choose who you’d like to assign it to, pick a due date and create
Remember to talk about the actions created from Teamgage comments as much as possible within your team and organisation. The secret to really engaging a team in this process is to promote as much as possible how constructive ideas don’t just go into a black hole.
