Sending a Teamgage Email Campaign
The Campaigns feature allows Teamgage Administrators to send customised email communications to users within their organisation.
Unlike Huddle or Survey notifications, Campaigns are designed for one-off communications and announcements. They can be targeted to specific teams, leaders, team members or administrators, making them a flexible way to communicate with your workforce.
Common uses for Campaigns include:
- Promoting upcoming Teamgage activities or surveys
- Sharing organisational updates
- Encouraging leaders to review and discuss results
- Reminding employees to complete feedback
- Communicating changes to internal processes or initiatives
- Promoting new Teamgage features and enhancements
How to Create and Send a Campaign
- Log into the Teamgage platform
- Go to Advanced > Campaigns from the left hand side navigation
- Click New Campaign
Step 1 - Design Your Campaign
Complete the Design tab by:
- Entering a Campaign Name
- Adding an Email Subject
- Creating your email content
You can format text and include images within your campaign.

Step 2 - Select Your Recipients
Open the Recipients tab and:
- Choose the relevant user types
- Select the teams you wish to target
- Review the recipient preview table
This allows you to confirm exactly who will receive the campaign before sending.

Step 3 - Test and Send
Open the Test and Send tab, before sending, we recommend using the Test option to preview the email.
You can send a test version to up to five users.
Once you're satisfied:
- Select Send Now to send immediately, or
- Select Schedule Campaign to send at a future date and time

User Type Filters Explained
User Type filters help you target specific groups of people within Teamgage.
- Admin - Users who have administrative access within Teamgage.
- Manager - Users who manage one or more teams and can access team results.
- Submitter - Users who provide feedback into one or more teams.
You can combine User Types with Team filters to create highly targeted communications.

Before sending a campaign:
- Use the recipient preview to confirm your audience
- Send a test email to yourself and other stakeholders
- Keep messages concise and action-oriented
- Include clear next steps where applicable
- Schedule communications during normal business hours where possible
FAQs
Can I cancel a campaign?
Yes. Scheduled campaigns can be cancelled before their scheduled send time.
Can I attach images?
Yes. Images can be inserted directly into your campaign using the email editor.
Can I embed videos?
No. Videos cannot be embedded directly into emails. Instead, include a link to the video hosted on platforms such as YouTube, Vimeo, SharePoint or your organisation's intranet.
Can I see previously sent campaigns?
Yes. Select Past Campaigns from the Campaigns page to view campaigns that have already been sent.
