Within your Huddle Results Dashboard, you'll see an option called "Automatic Metric Set".
The Automatic Metric Set automatically displays results for all metrics that were used within your selected date range. This allows you to review results across time periods, even if your organisation has changed Metric Sets or uses rotating metrics across teams.
Unlike custom Metric Sets, you do not need to create or manage the Automatic Metric Set, it updates automatically based on your data.
Why the Automatic Metric Set is useful
The Automatic Metric Set helps ensure you always have a complete view of results, even when metrics change over time or differ between teams.
For example:
-
Your team recently introduced new metrics, but you're reviewing results for the entire quarter. Both old and new metrics will appear automatically.
-
You're a senior leader viewing results across your organisation. Different departments may use different Metric Sets, but the Automatic Metric Set brings all results together into one view.
-
You're reviewing historical results and want to ensure no data is missed due to Metric Set changes.
This makes it easier to track trends and maintain visibility across teams and time periods.
Identifying metrics that were not answered by everyone
Some metrics may only apply to certain teams or may have been introduced partway through your selected date range. When this happens, you'll see an indicator icon next to the metric.
Hover over the

icon to see:
- The number of responses submitted for that metric
- The percentage of the team those responses represent
This helps you understand how broadly the metric applies when interpreting the results.
FAQS
Q: How do I view my team's specific Metric Set instead?
A: You can change the selected Metric Set using the Metric Set dropdown on the Huddle Results Dashboard.
Q: Will every metric used within the selected date range appear?
A: The Automatic Metric Set displays up to 27 metrics, prioritised by sample size. Metrics with the highest number of responses appear first to ensure the most meaningful data is shown.
