Protect Users From Auto Delete
Protecting users from auto-delete puts a lock on the profile that prevents that user profile from being deleted through an manual data upload or integration. This is a great option when your organisation has people using Teamgage that are not included in the system your user data comes from (your HRIS or payroll system etc). Without protecting those users, each time you upload a file or there's a data-sync through the integration those users will find their profile deleted.
How to protect a user profile
- Open the Users list
- Click Edit
- Select Advanced Settings
- Check Protected from auto-delete
- Save
Here's how it looks
Protecting and unprotecting user profiles is only available to your organisation Teamgage Administrators.
