Send a One-Off Huddle Notification to a User
Teamgage automatically sends Huddle notifications based on your organisation's notification schedule. However, there may be times when you need to manually send a one-off notification to an individual user.
Common reasons include:
- A user has recently been added to Teamgage and you'd like them to submit feedback before the next scheduled notification
- A user reports they didn't receive their original notification
- A manager would like immediate access to their team's results without waiting for the next scheduled manager notification
- You're testing or verifying notification delivery for a specific user
Sending a Huddle Submission Notification
A Submission Notification allows a team member to provide feedback through Teamgage.
- Log into the Teamgage platform
- Go to Users from the left hand side navigation
- Click Edit User
- Click Send Notification
- Confirm the correct team is displayed
- If required, tick Send a Welcome Message even if the user has previously received a Welcome Message
- Click Send Notification
Here's What It Looks Like
Sending a Huddle Manager Notification
A Manager Notification provides a leader with access to their team's Huddle results.
- Log into the Teamgage platform
- Go to Users from the left hand side navigation
- Click Edit User
- Click Send Notification
- In the Select Report drop down, select the report/team your wish to send this Manager notification out to
- If required, tick Send a Welcome Message even if the user has previously received a Welcome Message
- Click Send Notification
Here's What It Looks Like
Submission vs Manager Notifications
Submission Notification
- Sent to team members
- Contains a link to submit Huddle feedback
- Used when you want someone to provide feedback
Manager Notification
- Sent to leaders and managers
- Contains a link to view Huddle results
- Used when you want a manager to access their team's dashboard
Important Notes
- Sending a notification manually does not change your organisation's scheduled notification cycle
- The user will continue to receive future notifications according to the configured schedule
- Welcome Messages can be resent if required, even if the user has previously received one
- Notification delivery will follow the user's configured communication preferences (Email, Microsoft Teams, Slack or SMS)
