Understanding Safety and Anonymity in Teamgage Conversations
Teamgage Conversations are designed to provide every team member with a safe space for meaningful, secure, and anonymous dialogue.
If you’ve received a reply to one of your comments and a conversation has been started as part of the feedback process, here’s what you need to know about how your privacy and safety are protected.
To ensure psychological safety and accountability, your organisation’s Teamgage Administrators have visibility over all conversations and may step in if needed to support either party.
Your anonymity is protected
The identity of the original submitter is never revealed in a Teamgage Conversation. Even if you choose to participate, neither your leader nor your organisation’s administrators can see who you are.
Teamgage Shield protects your anonymity at all times, whether you reply once, continue the conversation or choose not to engage.
Participation Is Always Optional
If you are not comfortable replying to a message, that is completely okay.
There is no requirement to respond, and there are no consequences for choosing not to participate. You are in control of whether and how the conversation continues.
Who Else Can See The Conversation?
Your leader and your organisation’s administrators can view the conversation.
Why This Matters
Teamgage Conversations exist to:
- Show that feedback is being heard
- Enable safe, two-way dialogue
- Encourage meaningful action based on team input
- Maintain trust and anonymity at all times
We are committed to ensuring every voice can be heard safely, securely, and respectfully.
