How To Edit Individual Metric Comment Prompts
Each metric in a Huddle can include dynamic comment prompts that change based on a submitter’s rating. These prompts appear as placeholder text in the comment field and are designed to guide users toward more meaningful, relevant feedback.
You can use Teamgage’s default prompts or customise them to encourage more specific insights aligned to your organisation’s goals or the intent of each metric.
By default, Teamgage uses the following comment prompts:
- Default: Comment or idea
- Green: Win, praise or idea
- Yellow: Comment or idea
- Red: Please tell us more
When a submitter first opens the Huddle submission page, they will see the default comment prompt (Comment or idea). Once they select a rating, the comment placeholder text updates to match the colour of the rating they’ve chosen.
This approach helps guide feedback in a way that’s appropriate to the sentiment being shared, while keeping the submission experience quick and intuitive.
- Select Huddle>Metric Management from the side navigation
- Find the Metric you are looking to amend and click Edit Metric
- Enter the preferred text under each Comment Placeholder Text
- Click Save
