See below for more detailed information on the customisation options available for your metrics

Here's what it looks like

Components of a Metric

  1. Name - Clear and descriptive. Team members should understand what they are giving feedback on
  2. Metric Type
    1. Standard Metric - Rated 0–100 (0 = lowest / 100 = highest)
    2. Overloadable Metric - Rated 0–200 (0 = under goal / 100 = ideal / 200 = over goal). Example: Workload, where being underworked or overworked is equally unsustainable
  3. Anchor Points - Provide context to guide team submissions. Each point (100, 75, 50, 25, 0) contains a customisation label (i.e. “Effective", "Not effective”)
  4. Thresholds - Set the percentage at which leaders will see a metric result as Amber or Green.
  5. Comment Placeholder Text -  Default text shown in the comment box for that metric on the submission page, which can vary by rating (Red, Yellow, Green). Learn more
  6. Description -  The question shown to team members when submitting this metric. While the Name is usually short (i.e.  “Workload”), the Description gives detailed guidance on what to consider
  7. Suggestions - Shown in the Huddle results dashboard, these prompts help leaders ask their teams questions and spark meaningful conversations based on metric results. You can also link to supporting resources like frameworks, courses, or other relevant content

Notes

  1. Character Limits
    1. Metric Name - 20 characters
    2. Anchor Points - 20 characters
    3. Comment Placeholder Text - 33 characters
  2. Each metric must have 5 anchor points tied to a set score
    1. Anchor points should be align closely with the question
    2. Example: Metric - How clear are your team’s current priorities? / Anchor points - Clear | Mostly | Somewhat | Not really | Not clear
  3. Before teams can use a metric, it must be added to a Metric Set and assigned to the team(s). Learn more
