How to Enable Sidekick

To enable Sidekick for your Organisation simply email support@teamgage.com to confirm and acknowledge the information below. Our team will then enable the feature for your Admins which will open up permissions for Admins to make Sidekick available to either:

A) All Managers
B) Selected Managers
C) Admins only (no further action required)

Sidekick Information

  • Sidekick is an AI feature available to customers within their existing Teamgage tenant as part of their standard Teamgage subscription (it is not a separate tool).
  • Sidekick uses Microsoft Azure AI infrastructure to analyse your users’ feedback (scores and free text comments only) to highlight main feedback themes and suggest actions. (see how it works).  
  • Your Teamgage data is
    • NOT available to other customers (it is segregated in your existing Teamgage tenant)
    • NOT available to third party model builders.
    • NOT used to train/improve/refine AI models.  (The Teamgage models are stateless, unless Teamgage explicitly fine-tunes models with Teamgage training data).
    • NOT used to improve any Microsoft or 3rd party products or services.
  • Your user profile data in Teamgage is NOT transmitted to or analysed by Sidekick
  • Once the Sidekick feature has been enabled in Teamgage, access to it is provided based on system permission, and controlled by your own Teamgage Administrator
  • At the time of writing the Azure AI model used by Sidekick is not available in the Australian Microsoft data centres – so your customer data analysed by Sidekick will be transmitted and processed in a US-based Microsoft data centre.  (This affects Sidekick only).  In addition, Microsoft reserves a right to retain a copy of any analysed data in the US for up to 30 days for the sole purpose of content monitoring (e.g., security threats or inappropriate content).

By opting in to Teamgage Sidekick you acknowledge:


Your feedback data will be transmitted and processed in a Microsoft Azure US data centre solely for the purpose of providing Sidekick analysis. Reminder: your Teamgage data is not stored by Teamgage in the US (we still only store your data in Australian Microsoft data centres).
