Give a Manager Access to Sidekick

Sidekick provides AI support for interpreting results and turning feedback into actionable insights. To help Managers move faster and more confidently, we recommend enabling Sidekick for those who regularly review feedback and lead team conversations.

Your organisation can enable Sidekick access in several ways, depending on whether you want to provide access to:
  1. All managers
  2. Managers of a specific team
  3. An individual manager

Methods to Enable Sidekick Access

Choose the method that best suits your organisation’s setup.

Option 1: All Managers (via Advanced Team Settings)

Use this option to grant access to every Manager in your organisation.
  1. Log into the Teamgage platform
  2. Select Advanced>Team Settings from the side navigation
  3. Under Global Manager Settings, enable All managers can use Sidekick
All current and future Managers will now be able to use Sidekick to analyse their team's results.

Option 2: Specific Team Managers (via Team List)

Use this method to give Sidekick access to Managers of a particular team only.
  1. Log into the Teamgage platform
  2. Select Teams>Teams List from the side navigation
  3. Find the team and click Edit Team
  4. Select the Manager's tab
  5. Locate the manager and click Edit Flags
  6. In the blank field under Options, select Sidekick
  7. Repeat steps 5-6 for each manager in that team if you want all managers in that team to have access
  8. Click Save

Option 3: Individual Manager (via User Profile) 

Use this method to give Sidekick access to a single Manager.
  1. Log into the Teamgage platform
  2. Select Users from the side navigation
  3. Locate the user and click Edit User
  4. Go to the Report Access tab
  5. Click Edit Flags next to the team you want that user to have Sidekick access
  6. In the blank field under Options, select Sidekick
  7. Click Save
