Managing Mobile Numbers for SMS Notifications

If your organisation has enabled SMS notifications, you can add a mobile number to your Teamgage profile to receive Teamgage notifications via text message.

SMS notifications are commonly used for:
  1. Frontline and field-based employees
  2. Teams without regular access to email
  3. Organisations looking to improve notification visibility and engagement

Before You Start:
  1. SMS notifications are an optional Teamgage communication channel and may incur additional charges depending on your agreement with Teamgage.
  2. SMS notifications must first be enabled by your organisation before they can be used
If you're unsure whether SMS is available, please contact your Teamgage Administrator.

How to Add Your Mobile Number

  1. Log into Teamgage using this link
  2. Go to Navigate > Details from the left hand side navigation
  3. Enter your mobile number and adjust the country code if required
  4. Click Save

How to Update a User's Mobile Number as an Administrator

If required, Teamgage Administrators can update a user's mobile number on their behalf.
  1. Log into the Teamgage platform
  2. Go to Users from the left hand side navigation
  3. Search for the user
  4. Click Edit User
  5. Within the Details tab, update the mobile number 
  6. Click Save

Why Haven't I Received SMS Notifications?

There are several reasons why SMS notifications may not be available:
  1. SMS notifications have not been enabled for your organisation
  2. A mobile number has not been added to your profile
  3. The mobile number is incorrect or incomplete
  4. SMS notifications have not been enabled within your communication preferences
  5. Your organisation has not subscribed to SMS notifications
