Understanding Response Rates in Huddle

Understanding Response Rates in Huddle

Your response rate reflects the proportion of people whose Huddle submissions contribute to your team’s results.
A high response rate means more voices are heard, more insights are captured and your team is better equipped to drive continuous improvement.

Where can I see the Response rate?

If you have access to team results (for example, as a team manager), you’ll see the response rate in the Dashboard Summary of your Huddle Dashboard.
We encourage you to share and discuss this in team meetings to support ongoing participation.

FAQs

Why is the response rate important?
A higher response rate gives you greater visibility into how your team or organisation is feeling and performing. More responses lead to richer insights and better decision-making.

How is the response rate calculated?
Response rate is calculated as the percentage of team members who submitted feedback out of those who were invited to submit within the selected date range.

Why does the response rate appear higher when viewing the Activity tab over a 3, 6, or 12-month period?
For longer time periods (3, 6, or 12 months), the response rate reflects whether a team member submitted at least once during that period.
This means that even if someone missed some months but submitted at least one response, they are counted in the overall rate. As a result, the combined response rate may appear higher than a simple average of individual monthly rates.

What happens if a user submits multiple responses within the selected date range?
If a team member submits multiple responses within the selected date range, their submissions are averaged in the Huddle Dashboard results.

Note on resubmissions
If a user resubmits feedback, their previous comments will remain visible in the dashboard.
