Understanding Response Rates

Understanding Response Rates in Huddle

Your response rate reflects the number of people whose Huddle submissions contribute to your team’s results.
A high response rate means more voices are heard, more insights are captured, and your team is better equipped to drive continuous improvement.

Where can I see the Response rate?

If you have access to team results (e.g. as a team manager), you’ll see the response rate in the Dashboard Summary of your Huddle Dashboard. Be sure to share and discuss this during your team meetings to encourage ongoing participation.

Here's what it looks like

FAQs

Why is the response rate important?

A higher response rate gives you greater visibility into how your team or organisation is feeling and performing. More responses mean better insights and stronger decision-making.

How are response rates calculated?

Response rate is calculated as the percentage of team members who submitted feedback out of those who were asked to submit during the selected date range.

Why is the response rate higher when reviewing the Activity tab over a 3/6/12 month period?

The overall response rate for a 3, 6, or 12-month period reflects whether a team member submitted at least once during that time, not how often they submitted. So, even if someone skipped a few months but submitted once, they’re counted in the overall rate. This can make the combined response rate appear higher than the simple average of each individual month.

What happens if a user re-submits their feedback within the selected Date Range?

If a team member submits multiple times within the selected date range, an average of their submissions will be used in the Huddle Dashboard results.
