Organisation Wide Communication Settings
The Communications section within Teamgage allows administrators to configure how notifications are delivered across their organisation.
From this page, you can:
- Enable or disable communication channels
- Configure default communication preferences for new users
- Apply communication preference changes across all existing users
- Manage how Teamgage notifications are delivered organisation-wide
How to Update Organisation-Wide Communication Preferences
- Log into the Teamgage platform
- Go to Advanced > Communications from the left hand side navigation
- Click the Cog icon next to the communication channel you wish to configure
- Update the settings for:
- All Users in Bulk
- Default Setting for New Users
- Click Save Changes
If you are looking to implement SMS, Microsoft Teams or Slack, click Request Access and our Support Team will review your request and contact you once the channel has been enabled.Here's what it looks like
Processing Changes
When communication preference changes are applied across your organisation, Teamgage must update the settings for all affected users. As a result, user counts may temporarily appear blank while changes are being processed.
Understanding the Toggle
Each communication channel can also be enabled or disabled for your organisation using the toggle shown next to the channel.
- On - Notifications can be sent using this communication channel
- Off - Notifications will not be sent using this communication channel
Email cannot be disabled, as it serves as the core communication channel within Teamgage.
