Creating a Huddle Metric Set

Creating a Huddle Metric Set

After creating your metrics, you’ll need to add them to a Metric Set. A Metric Set is the group of metrics your organisation/team(s) will respond to during their Teamgage Huddle submission.
You can:
  1. Assign a single Metric Set for the entire organisation
  2. Assign a Metric Set for specific teams
  3. Create unique Metric Sets for different teams

How to Create a Metric Set

  1. Log into Teamgage
  2. Select Huddle > Metrics from the left-hand menu
  3. Go to the Metric Set tab
  4. Click + New in the top-left corner
  5. Give your Metric Set a unique name (see below notes on our recommended Metric Set name)
  6. Under Metrics, click on the drop down to select/search for your metric
    1. Click + Add Metric to add the remaining metrics, we recommend 5–7 metrics per set
  7. Adjust Advanced Settings if needed
    1. Comment Placeholder Text (Overall) - Customise the general comment prompt on the submission page. Learn more
    2. Custom Thank You Message - Add a thank-you message from the leader of the division. This will be shown after a user submits
  8. Click Save
  9. Click Preview to see how the submission page will look for this Metric Set. Learn more
    1. You can share the URL of the preview to other colleagues if needed
Notes
Giving your Metric Set a clear and unique name makes it easier to:
  1. Identify it when reviewing historical results
  2. Track when specific Metric Sets were applied over time
Suggested naming conventions:
  1. If you are using only one Metric Set per submission period:
    1. Organisation Name (Start Date – Current)
  2. If you are rotating metrics:
    1. Organisation Name (Start Date – Current) – Core
    2. Organisation Name (Start Date – Current) – Month 1
    3. Organisation Name (Start Date – Current) – Month 2
    4. Organisation Name (Start Date – Current) – Month 3
