Exporting your Team's Comments

Export your Team's Huddle Comments

Team comments are one of the richest sources of insight in Teamgage. They provide the context behind scores, surface ideas and blockers and help spark meaningful conversations that lead to action and continuous improvement.
Exporting comments allows you to share insights outside of Teamgage for deeper analysis, leadership reporting, presentations, or broader organisational discussions. Many organisations include Teamgage comments in executive updates, quarterly reporting and strategic planning conversations.

Anonymity remains a core principle of Teamgage. Comment exports will never identify individual submitters. However, the export will include:
  1. The comment
  2. The metric associated with the comment
  3. The team the comment was submitted into

How to Export Comments

  1. Log into the Teamgage platform
  2. Go to Huddle>Results from the left hand side navigation
  3. Select the team you would like to view results for
  4. Open the Comments tab
  5. Set the required Date Range
  6. Confirm the correct Metric Set is selected
  7. Select the metrics you would like included in the export
  8. Click Export
  9. Click View Progress to open the download page
  10. Once the export is ready, click the file to download it

Notes About Comment Exports

If a comment belongs to a team whose results are locked at the time of export, Teamgage will automatically replace the team name with the next visible level in your organisational hierarchy. This helps maintain anonymity while still preserving the value of the feedback.

Practical Example

  1. Entire Organisation
    1. Operations
      1. Finance (results unlocked)
      2. Sales (results locked)
      3. Customer Success (results unlocked)
      4. Marketing (results unlocked)
If you export comments from the Operations team, any comments submitted within the locked Sales Team will appear under the team name Operations instead.
If the Sales Team later becomes unlocked and you export the comments again, the export will then display Sales as the associated team name.
