Exporting your Team's Comments

Exporting your Team's Huddle Comments

Team Comments are one of the most valuable sources of insight in Teamgage. It's the comments that spark team conversations, uncover ideas and create the actions that drive change and continuous improvement.

Sometimes you need to share these comments outside of Teamgage; for further analysis or for the broader organisation.  We often see Teamgage comments added to monthly executive updates and quarterly Board packs.

Anonymity is a core principle to Teamgage, so comments won't identify the individual submitter. You will however be able to see:
  1. the Comment,
  2. the Metric it was associated with, and
  3. the Team it was submitted into.

How to export comments

  1. Open the specific Team Results Dashboard you'd like comments from - if you have access you can use the Entire Organisation dashboard for every team's comments.
  2. On the Launch screen select "Manager View"
  3. Select the Comments tab on the Dashboard
  4. If Required, Update the Date Range and/or Metric Category to Filter Your Comments
  5. Tap the 3 Dots (right hand corner) - Click Export
  6. The export will automatically kick off - tap "View Progress" to access your export file (.xlsx file)
  7. Open your export file (.xlsx file)

Here's what it looks like

Notes about Comment Exports

If a comment is from a Team whose Results are locked at the time you create the export, we'll adjust the name of the Team to be the next level up in your Team Structure. This means the Comment is still available, but you won't necessarily know the individual team name. Again, this is all about the principle of anonymity.

A practical example:
  1. Whole Organisaiton
    1. Australian Team
      1. NT team: Results unlocked
      2. SA team: Results currently locked
      3. NSW team: Results unlocked
      4. WA team: Results unlocked
In your Export of comments from the "Australian Team", any comments associated with the "SA team", will have the team name "Australian Team" in the export. If the "SA team" received additional submissions and the Results were subsequently unlocked, a second export would now show the team name as "SA Team".
