Restore a Team

Restore a Team

If a team has been deleted unintentionally, or needs to be reintroduced into your organisational hierarchy, Teamgage has the ability to restore a team at any time.

Restoring a team returns it to your organisational structure and makes it available for reporting, team management and future feedback collection.

How to Restore a Team

  1. Log into the Teamgage platform
  2. Go to Teams > Teams List from the left-hand side navigation
  3. Click Advanced Filter
  4. Under the Deleted filter, select Yes
  5. Click Apply
  6. Search for the team you wish to restore
  7. Click Restore under the Actions column
  8. Confirm the restoration

Here's What It Looks Like

When Would You Restore a Team?

Common reasons include:
  1. A team was deleted by mistake
  2. An organisational restructure has been reversed
  3. A previously inactive team has become active again
  4. Historical team structures need to be reinstated

What Happens When a Team Is Restored?

When a team is restored:
  1. The team is returned to your organisational hierarchy
  2. Managers and Team Members are reinstated (only if they haven't been moved to another team in the meantime)
  3. The team can once again receive feedback and access reporting
  4. The team becomes available for future team management activities
  5. All historical results are visible
