Using Comment Analysis in Huddle

Comment Analysis in Huddle

Comment Analysis in Teamgage Huddle

Teamgage automatically summarises comment themes and sentiment, enabling leaders to quickly identify key focus areas from qualitative feedback.

There are three key areas in the Huddle platform where comment analysis is available:

1. Within the Team Report

The Comments tab in a team report allows leaders to view the top topics and themes from the submitted comments, along with breakdown of comment sentiment.

This analysis enables leaders to:

  • Filter topics by frequency
  • Sort by sentiment (positive to negative or vice versa)
  • Click on any topic to view the underlying comments

We recommend leaders start by reviewing top topics and themes for an objective, holistic view of what is contributing to results, rather than jumping straight into reviewing individual comments. This helps prevent distraction from outliers and keeps action focused on the bigger picture.

2. Using the Heatmap (for Multi-Team Leaders)

The Heatmap is available to leaders overseeing multiple teams and can be accessed directly from any parent team report. It provides:

  • A side-by-side comparison of team scores
  • The top 3 comment themes per team
  • Sentiment distribution of top 3 comments themes for each team

This view helps leaders quickly identify where additional support or attention is needed—and why—as well as where positive changes are occurring, so these can be amplified or showcased.

3. Via a Sidekick Analysis

InfoAlert
This is only available only if Sidekick has been enabled for your organisation.

Sidekick provides an AI-powered summary of:

  • Top comment themes, clickable to view the related comments
  • The key comments, contributing to the overall analysis via annotations
