Global Settings

Global Settings

Global settings allow you to enable specific features for all Managers across your organisation. These settings are configured directly in the platform and apply to both current and future managers.
Info
Use global settings when you want to provide consistent access across all Managers, rather than managing permissions individually.

How to Update Global Settings

  1. Log into the Teamgage platform
  2. Go to Advanced>Global Settings in the left hand navigation
  3. Under Global Settings, enable or disable the relevant features
  4. Changes are applied automatically to all Managers

Here's what it looks like

Understanding How The Settings Work

  • ON - The setting is enforced for all Managers and cannot be changed at an individual level
  • OFF - The setting can be managed at an individual Manager level. The system will check each Manager’s profile to determine whether they have access.

Understanding Each Feature

  1. All managers can access results from any sub team of the manager's team - Gives Managers automatic access to results for all teams beneath their own in the hierarchy, removing the need to assign access individually
  2. All managers can access Sidekick - Allows Managers to use Sidekick to interpret results and generate insights from team feedback
  3. All managers can edit team members - Enables Managers to add or remove users from the teams they manage, helping keep team structures up to date
  4. All managers are protected from auto-delete by data imports - Prevents Manager profiles from being removed during data uploads, even if they are not included in the source system
  5. All managers can use advanced filtering by demographics and tags - Allows Managers to filter results using demographic or structural tags to gain deeper insights
  6. All managers can create their own surveys - Enables Managers to create and send surveys to their teams directly within Teamgage
  7. All managers can access internal benchmarking - Allows Managers to compare their team’s results against the entire organisation to understand relative performance
