Understanding Demographic Tags
Demographic Tags are attributes added to a user’s profile in Teamgage that describe key characteristics such as gender, employment type, location, or tenure. These tags allow you to analyse anonymous submission data beyond team structure. Instead of viewing results only by team, Demographic Tags let you filter results and create demographic-based views and reports, helping uncover insights across different groups within your organisation.
Once Demographic Tags have been created and applied, they can be used to:
- Filter Team Results
- Create demographic analysis reports
- Compare insights across different groups while preserving anonymity
While Demographic Tags can be customised to suit your organisation, common examples include:
- Physical location
- Tenure
- Age range
- Generation
- Job role or level
- Employment type (e.g. Full time, Part time)
- Cohorts (e.g. graduates)
Demographic Tags can be added or updated at any time:
- Directly within a user’s profile in the Teamgage portal
- In bulk as part of a people data upload
This flexibility allows organisations to keep demographic data up to date and ensure reporting remains accurate and meaningful
