What are Demographic Tags?

Understanding Demographic Tags


Demographic Tags are the "tags of information" attached to a user's profile. An example maybe; their gender, their cohort (Eg. 2022 graduate), or their employment type (Eg. contractor vs FTE). You can use these tags to filter results and provide a different view of anonymous submission data - rather than only segmenting data based on team. Once Demographic Tags have been create and applied you can use them to filter Team Results or setup demographic analysis reports.

Demographic Tags can be anything you want, but common tags are physical location, tenure, age-range, job role, and cohort e.g Graduates etc. You can add Demographic Tags to a team member's user profile at any time; either directly within the Teamgage Portal or on-bulk as part a people data upload.
