How To Search For Deleted Users

Deleted users remain stored within Teamgage for historical reporting and audit purposes. You may need to locate deleted users when reviewing old records, restoring a user account, or resolving issues with duplicate email addresses.

How to View Deleted Users

  1. Log into the Teamgage platform
  2. Go to Users > Users List
  3. Click Advanced Filter
  4. Under Deleted, select Yes
  5. Click Apply
The user list will now display only deleted users.

Restoring a Deleted User

If a deleted user needs access to Teamgage again, their profile can be restored rather than creating a brand-new account.

Creating a New User When the Email Address Already Exists

Sometimes a deleted user profile may still be using an email address that you need to assign to a new employee profile.

In this situation:
  1. Restore the deleted user
  2. Update their email address to an alternative value (for example, old_jane.smith@company.com)
  3. Delete the user again
  4. Create the new user profile using the original email address
