Using Comment Analysis in Surveys

The Comment Analysis feature in Surveys helps you quickly identify key themes and understand the sentiment behind responses. It provides a visual and interactive way to explore comments, making it easier to uncover insights and trends.

Features

Grid View - Displays key terms and shows how frequently they appear across positive, neutral and negative sentiment.
  1. Topic Tile - Click on a tile to view all comments where that term is mentioned
  2. Sentiment Rating - Hover over coloured bars to see the percentage breakdown of sentiment (positive, neutral, negative)
  3. Sort By - Sort terms by mentions, positivity or negativity to highlight what matters most
Chart View - Visualise sentiment distribution and identify key terms within each sentiment category.
  1. Bubble Tooltip - Hover over a bubble to see the word, its sentiment, and the number of mentions

How To View The Comment Analysis

  1. Go to Surveys > Results in the left hand side navigation
  2. Click on the Entire Organisation results
  3. Select the Survey you are looking to review
  4. Locate any free text comment question and expand the question to see the topic analysis
