What Are Actions?

What are Actions?

Actions in Teamgage are a simple but powerful way to capture and track progress on ideas, improvements, and decisions that come from team feedback.
They turn insights into meaningful steps, helping your team stay focused on what matters most.

Why Use Actions?

Every piece of feedback is an opportunity, whether it’s solving a blocker, improving a process, or building on a great idea. Actions help you:
  1. Record what’s been agreed on
  2. Assign ownership and accountability
  3. Set timelines and track progress
  4. Keep everyone aligned and moving forward

Where Can You Create Actions?

You can create and manage actions in multiple places within Teamgage:

  • Teamgage Huddle: Turn team discussions into clear follow-up steps

  • Surveys: Respond to feedback themes or trends with targeted actions

No matter where they’re created, actions are always linked back to your team and visible to the right people to keep momentum going.

What Happens After You Create One?

Once created, actions are:

  • Visible in your team dashboard

  • Tracked over time so you can see what’s complete and what’s still in progress

  • Flexible - you can update details, assign owners, and change due dates as things evolve

Who Can See and Manage Actions?

Actions are visible to your leaders and admins, making it easy to keep everyone aligned and working toward shared outcomes.
If your team has created actions, any in-progress actions will automatically prepopulate in the message field when you share your results, helping everyone stay updated on what’s happening. Learn more about Sharing Results.
