How to Create Actions in Surveys
You can create Actions directly from your Survey results in Teamgage. This helps you respond to feedback themes and turn insights into meaningful next steps. Just follow the steps below:
All fields in the Action form must be completed before you can save
You can search by first name, last name or email address within the "Assigned To" field. If you can't find the person you're after that may not be in your Team (Learn how to check your team members).How to create an Action
- Go to your Teamgage Surveys dashboard (Surveys>Results)
- Select the Survey you would like to review
- Tap the Actions button in the top right corner
- Click Add Action
- Add a clear Action Title
- Set a Due Date
- Assign it to a team member
- Click Add to save the action

How to Create Actions Using Sidekick
Sidekick makes it easy to turn survey insights into clear, trackable actions. While reviewing your Survey results, Sidekick will analyse feedback and highlight suggestions you can use to create impactful next steps.
How to create an action from a Sidekick Analyses
- Open your Survey results
- Tap the Sidekick button in the top right corner
- Select which survey sections you want to analyse, then click Analyse
- Review your Sidekick analysis and click on the purple + icon next to a suggested action
- The suggested action will prefill as the action title, you can edit the description if needed
- Set a Due Date
- Assign it to a team member
- Click Add to save the action

Once you've gathered valuable insights through a survey, it's important to turn that feedback into clear, trackable actions. Here are some tips to help make your survey-driven actions more effective and impactful:
- Talk about your actions
Don't let survey results sit in a report. Show your team how their feedback is being used by highlighting the actions you're taking as a result. This helps reinforce trust and encourages future participation. - Make it clear and achievable
Keep actions focused and realistic. It should be something your team can control and follow through on within a reasonable timeframe - Share the load
Leaders shouldn't do it all. Assign actions across your team to foster shared ownership, accountability, and engagement - Review actions in every meeting
Start each team meeting with a quick review of your current actions. update due dates, mark things as complete, or identify anything that’s blocked and needs support
