Give a Manager Access to Compare To Entire Organisation
You must be a Teamgage Admin to make these changes and have compare their team(s) scores to your organisation enabled. Contact
support@teamgage.com if you cannot make these changes.
You can allow Managers to compare their team's scores against the organisation-wide average within Heatmaps and the Huddle dashboard.
This can be granted:
- To all Managers
- To Managers of specific teams
- To an individual Manager
We recommend enabling this for all Managers so they can better understand how their team is tracking in the broader organisational context.
Methods to Enable Access
Choose the option that suits your organisation's setup best:
Option 1: All Managers (via Advanced Team Settings)
Use this if you want every Manager across the organisation to have access.
- Click on Advanced>Team Settings in the left hand tab
- Under Global Manager Settings, enable "Can access internal benchmarking"
All current and future Managers will now be able to compare their team’s results to the overall organisation.
Here's what it looks like
Option 2: Specific Team Managers (via Team List)
Use this method if you only want Managers of a particular team to have comparison access
- Click on Teams>Teams List in the left hand tab
- Find the team and click "Edit Team"
- Go to the Manager's tab, find the manager and click "Edit Flags"
- Under Options, click in the blank space to populate a drop down field and select "Internal Benchmarking"
- If you want all Managers within this team to have access, you will need to do step 3 for every Manager under that team
- Click Save
Here's what it looks like
Option 3: Individual Manager (via User Profile)
- Click on Users in the left hand tab
- Find the user and click "Edit User"
- Go to the Reports Access tab, and click on Edit Flags next to the team you want to be able to compare to the Entire Organisation
- Click in the blank space to populate a drop down field and select "Internal Benchmarking"
- Click Save
