Teamgage Conversations allows leaders to respond directly to feedback while preserving the anonymity and safety of every team member.
It is a secure, private, and empowering way to show that feedback is being heard. Instead of comments disappearing into a void, Teamgage Conversations ensures employees can see that their input is read, considered, and responded to, while maintaining full anonymity and trust.
What is Teamgage Conversations?
Teamgage Conversations is a feature that enables a secure, two-way dialogue between leaders and the original (anonymous) author of a comment submitted through Teamgage. At no point is the submitter’s identity revealed. Replies remain anonymous, and conversations are protected by Teamgage Shield, which ensures privacy is always maintained.
Leaders can use Conversations to:
- Clarify feedback
- Ask for more detail
- Provide updates
- Say thank you
Who Can See What?
To support psychological safety and accountability, Teamgage Administrators have visibility over conversation threads. This means:
- Admins can see the leader who initiated the conversation and the messages exchanged
- Admins cannot see the identity of the original submitter, anonymity is always preserved
This oversight helps ensure all conversations remain respectful, constructive, and aligned with organisational values.
Is It Anonymous?
Yes – Teamgage is anonymous. Learn more about your anonymity
here.
How It Works
When a team member submits a comment in Teamgage, a leader or admin can choose to respond. When they do, a secure and anonymous conversation thread is created between the leader and the original author of the comment.
The team member will then receive a notification, from there, the team member can read the response and decide whether to continue the conversation. There is no obligation to reply.
Encouraging Team Members to Check and Respond
For Conversations to be effective, team members need to know when a leader has replied to their feedback.
When a leader responds to a comment, Teamgage sends a notification to the original submitter inviting them back into the conversation. Encouraging employees to check their notifications and respond helps create meaningful dialogue, provides leaders with additional context and demonstrates that feedback is being actively heard and acted upon.
To support awareness and participation, we've created a range of Conversation awareness posters that organisations can use in workplaces, lunchrooms, noticeboards, digital screens or internal communications (see below)
